Saint Michael’s Catholic School is situated in the Western Suburbs of Rotorua.  Traditionally we serve the communities in Western Heights, Pukehangi, Mamaku, Ngongotaha, Kaharoa and Kawaha Point.

Saint Michael’s Catholic School’s Mission statement is “To provide a sound, balanced education in a Catholic environment – Kia ū ai te matauranga i rotor i ngā tikanga o te Hahi Kātorika”.

Our Mission Statement empowers the staff to provide an education that is Catholic and that extends and empowers the learning of the children.  We have high expectations of academic success.  We have extensive resources to ensure that your children’s academic, social and spiritual needs are met in a warm and supportive environment.

As the Principal of Saint Michael’s Catholic School I extend a warm welcome to prospective parents.  If you are interested in visiting our School for enrolment purposes please contact the office.

As an integrated school, Saint Michael’s Catholic School accepts enrolments from both children who are Catholic and non-Catholic.  Our Parish Priest, Fr. Aidan provides the Preference Card for children who are Catholic.

The Gospel’s show how important it is to ensure that children receive an education that allows for Christian growth.  We have a close association with the Catholic Pastoral Area of Rotorua and the Catholic Diocese of Hamilton.

The first term has been richly rewarding and the rest of 2010 promises to be an exciting year for our children, staff and school community.
