Mrs Natalie Rickard, Learning Assistant

Hi, I'm Natalie Rickard (nee Pope). I am happily married to Dave. My connection to St Michael's goes back 25 years when my eldest son attneded St Michael's and JPC. I began learning assistant work here 23 years ago and found my passion for learning-needs education. I have worked in this feild in Rotoura, Wairarapa ad then returned to Rotorua to raise our tow youngest children who both attended St Michael's, one now at JPC and one in Year 6. Learning-needs education is supported passionately at St Michael's. Our Student Learning Support Centre is a place where all challenged to learning are supported by myself and teacher alike. I feel excited and priveliged to be part of a school that embraces all learners with skill and compassion.
