The St Michael's School Parent Teachers Association (PTA) is a group of parents who come together to support the school in providing the best for all children.

The PTA movement provides a means for parents and the school to build a successful partnership, based on the best interests of our children. By getting involved in the work of your PTA, parents, teachers and children benefit from the knowledge and insight shared.

Some examples of PTA activities are:

  • Fundraising
  • Discos
  • Gala
  • Parent get-togethers

The PTA meetings are usually held once a term in the school staffroom, on a Tuesday or Monday evening starting at 7pm in the school's staff room. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings, which are advertised in the school's fortnightly newsletter as well as on the School's Facebook Page.

Friends of the PTA – Members of the school community who would like to be kept updated on PTA activity, and help out where and when they can. All parents automatically become a "friend of the PTA" and will receive updates about how they can support our projects. We aim to have every family offer five hours of their time over the course of the year.
