Tickets to our upcoming production “Jonah a Fishy Tail” – Thursday 7th December

A friendly reminder to grab your tickets from the office for our upcoming production Jonah a Fishy Tail! They are $2 each. We have a day and a night show – 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm. We will be cutting off ticket sales at the end next week (Friday the 1st December) so that we know exactly how many people are attending so we have enough seats for everyone. At this stage there will be no door sales.

Good afternoon everyone that is doing Kapa Haka this evening, Can you please check your tickets as your child may have taken some extra ones. We are looking for 2 that say “Finau” on them. Please contact the office ASAP 07 3481362 or bring them with your child at 6pm drop off

Disco Night

We are very excited to see everyone in their favorite book character costumes tonight at the PTA Disco. 

Starts at 5:30pm and Finishes at 7:00pm

$2 Entry Fee 

On sale tonight:

$1 per Pizza slice or Lolly Bag or Water or Ice Block

$2ea for Glow Stick accessories 

Cash Only

Amended time for Book Character Disco – Start time is 5:30pm not 6pm.

Dress up as your favourite book character. Parents, please make sure you pick your child up from the hall at 7pm. Children will not be permitted to leave the hall without an adult.

Christmas Raffle

Thank you to the community for all the food donations for our Christmas Raffle. If you have forgotten or would.loke to donate anymore items you can still bring items in till the end of the month. 

Raffle books went home with the eldest child yesterday. Amy unsold tickets to be returned to the office by the 01/12/23.

Raffles will be drawn on the 07/12/23

Let’s get behind the All Blacks!!

This Friday will be an All Blacks (or if you support that other team) Mufti Day! Come dressed ready to support your team. We will take a school photo and send it to our boys to show our support. Go the AB’s!!!

Also, Friday is World Teachers Day. I want to thank our amazing teachers for the hard work, dedication, commitment and professionalism they bring to this hugely important job. Teachers have the power to change the lives of the children they teach and are key to developing life-long learners. St Michael’s teachers are super stars!!

Photolife have informed me they have emailed all parents  their child’s unique Key Code to go online to view and purchase 2023 School Photos.       ***FREE DELIVERY EXPIRES Midnight Sunday 22ND OCTOBER *** 

If you have not received this email/code please check your  trash / spam folder.

I also have a copy of all the codes here at the office for parents who did not receive their child’s Key Code.

Non Preference Spaces Available.

We currently have four Non-Preference openings for the upcoming Term 4. If you are aware of families who wish to enrol their non-Catholic children at St. Michael’s for the next term, kindly inform Cristy at the school office and collect an enrolment pack. We particularly welcome families of students in year 1 – 3 who are receptive to our Christian beliefs and values.

We are looking for property maintenance services to do some work around our school during the upcoming break. Can anyone suggest a handyman?

Sports team photos will be held on the same day as the school photos. Please send your child to school with their sports uniform for the photo. Uniforms will be collected after the photo from sports codes that have finished for the season.
